Puddle Girl – go for it!

In honor of Kalevala Jewelry’s 80th anniversary, two famous artists – Kim Simonsson and Kirsti Doukas – collaborated on Puddle Girl, a miniature sculpture that can also be used as jewelry. Kirsti Doukas’s silver piece is modeled on Kim Simonsson’s ceramic sculpture of the same name. Girls are strong characters in Simonsson’s work, not repressed.

“They bravely actualize themselves, questioning conventions and traditional norms. This little girl, fearlessly jumping in a puddle, urges all women and girls to do the same – dare to be yourself!” says Kim Simonsson.

The miniature sculptures are available as limited editions.
